About Us

Dr. Borsand is not only a Hyperbaric Clinician, but also a patient. He suffered a traumatic crush injury and amputation of his right arm was discussed at length. Not willing to lose his arm without a fight, Dr. Borsand started HBOT and within 60 treatments he formed a bony callus and his arm was saved. He now owns RX-O2 Hyperbaric Clinic in Arizona, is the current president of the Arizona Hyperbaric Society and teaches Hyperbaric training courses to ensure safe and effective HBOT is being provided.

Under the guidance and accreditation from IBUM, our courses are tailored to fit the needs of all students. With online and in-person courses available to doctors, medical assistants and even for home HBOT patients, there's educational opportunities available regardless of your current understanding of HBOT.

The International Board of underseas Medicine (IBUM)exists to train recompression chamber operators, Diving Medical Technicians, Advanced Diving Medical Technicians, Intermediate Hyperbaric Technicians, Advanced Clinical Hyperbaric Technicians and Hyperbaric Physicians as well as educate and increase safety for those who work in the hyperbaric field and certify facilities to the highest international standard.

Hyperbaric Oxygen training and certification is paramount to patient safety. Accredited programs will provide not only the knowledge, but also the confidence to treat patients with oxygen under pressure.
